The battle to retake Raqqa, the Islamic State group’s stronghold in Syria, is well under way. A coalition made up of mainly Kurdish forces with some Arab fighters has been leading the action on the frontline. They have been regaining control of the city bit by bit, checking each and every house as they liberate neighbourhoods. This report from France 2 takes a closer look.
A programme prepared by Patrick Lovett, Jessica Sestilli and Elom Marcel Toble.
