The Road to Raqqa. YPG fighters, medics & European volunteers on ISIS frontline

The road to ISIS’ self-proclaimed capital, Raqqa, has been long and hard. The battle rages in the suburbs of the Syrian city. Improvised explosive devices, suicide bombers, sniper fire and grenade-dropping drones have been deployed by the surrounded terrorists.
This film features the stories of fighters in the Kurdish People Protection Units (YPG), as well as European volunteers who joined them. There are also stories of military hospital staff. Dr. Akhiv, a veteran military doctor considers his work a “sacred calling.” Adham, a frontline nurse, joined the field hospital after his brother was killed fighting ISIS. Sema, a Kurdish female commander, left her family to join the fight. “We’re not fighting for a certain nation. Humanity is what we’re fighting for,” she says.
Some Europeans have joined the YPG as volunteers. Rosa left a mundane life in Sweden to fight for women’s rights in Syria. Robin, a volunteer from Germany, got sick of hearing how “someone should do something about” ISIS after every terrorist attack in Europe. He left his girlfriend and a comfortable life to do something about them himself.

  1. THink you need to take this down or edit it at least.

12:57 You have successfully GLORIFIED a well documented ISIS fighter who HAS PICTURES HOLDING THE HEAD OF FSA SOLDIER as well as other clearly documented pictures showing his ISIS allegance. The Nurse you tried to make look like an ANGEL is a fucking animal. PLease do the right thing.

  2. That ex-IS man's wife is laying the fertile ground for another IS – same violence and hatred towards others except more tolerant towards Muslims of the own group. The Quran is satanic so all it has is kill and destroy. People are too brainwashed to criticise it. There are a million critics of the Bible – find one among Muslims who dares stand up against the clerics promoting a dodgy religion.

  3. These young YPJ girls are real feminists- they share the suffering and joys alike with their men. All the Western women do is turn into lesbians to show off feminism. A lot of lesson to be learned from these courageous and brave women of YPJ. By the way the UN should investigate WHO funded and sponsored ISIS and take them to the international Court to face war crimes charges. far too many the real villains hide behind a mask and this sort of menace keeps coming up all the time. I have No doubt it is the US and the West attempted to build an anti Bashar alliance that went wrong (just like the taliban) and later Saudi Arabia and China funded the movement and weapons.

  4. RT priming the SHEEP for when Russia and their JEW Partners DIVIDE Syria to SPLIT the SPOILS.

Russia's Head Military GOY is in IsraHELL and while he is There IsraHELL makes another BOMBING RUN on Syria and NOTHING is Said by the Fucking Russians all you see is him SMILING with his IsraHELL Masters.

Russia won't let Syrians Take back the GOLAN from the Commie RUSSIAN JEW MAJORITY in IsraHELL.

Fucking KURDS are the JEW Whores and RT tries to make these LAND Thieves into another 'Poor Victim" like the Russians Invented HoloHOAX Jew "Victims'.

Syria Will be RULED by IsraHELL because RUSSIA is more JEW than CHRISTIAN.

  5. That Swedish girl with beautiful smile – I hope you are still alive. You are one of many true heroes of humanity. Huge respect for doing, what you are doing and sacrificing your blood. Big respect from Poland!

  6. We're grabbing land and such? Do people who say this know how Syria and Iraq was formed in first place. I guess an imorted Arab hashemite king is more entitled to Mesopotamia than Kurds whove lived in parts of Meso for thousands of years.

  7. Honestly fuck the west some guy from Germany actually had the balls to go there and do something about ISIS and they put him on the terrorist list..these are the people that drove that truck into people in Berlin and everyone was mourning but yet they prosecute people that do something about them… I say this from the bottom of my heart fuck you Germany and the other countries that do these bullshit.

  8. America is tricking you. They made isis and YPG they use isis to clear out area then they will make fake Kurdish country to control there oil. Kurds are terrorists they and America back off and always let isis get away.

  9. It is very revealing when you listen to this woman talk about her religion and the Koran. Her blind belief in the religions teachings in spite of what she has seen make it clear why extreme groups like ISIS keep appearing in the middle east. I am of the opinion that there will be continual war in this region and it is primarily because of the predominant religion.

  10. Ruling on ISIS

Posted on September 9, 2017 by Staff Dar al-Iftaa Al-Missriyyah

What is the ruling on following ISIS and similar groups?

Muslims are obliged to fight against ISIS and invite them to honor the obligation God has enjoined upon them towards their rulers. According to scholars, it is only permissible to fight them after trying to dissuade them from their ways.

    Imam al-San`ani al-Kasani said:

When a ruler learns that the Kharijites are wielding their weapons and readying for war, he must apprehend and detain them until they renounce their ways and repent. This is because if they are left fee, they will sow corruption on earth. Hence, they must be prevented. However, the ruler must not fight them unless they initiate hostilities… but if he does not learn of this until they h ave encamped and are ready for war, he must invite them to observe justice and return to the congregation of the Muslims in the hope they will respond and accept the invitation as is the practice ofahl al-harb.

    Imam Al-Nawawi said:

The scholars maintain: It is obligatory to fight the bughah [rebels]; they are not deemed disbelievers on account of their baghy [rebellion]. If a baghi [rebel] renounces his disobedience, his repentance is to be accepted and he is not to be killed. The Companions unanimously agreed that the bughah are to be fought.

The goal of fighting the Kharijites

The main goal of fighting the Kharijites is to make them submit to their Muslim rulers. Al-Kasani the Hanafi scholar said:

This is because fighting them is for the sake of repelling their evil, not for the evil of their polytheism since they are Muslims. Provided they do not direct their evil at anyone, they are not to be fought.

    Al-Khatib al-Shirbini said:

This is because the purpose of fighting them is to return them to obedience. But if they persist, he [the ruler] is to advise and exhort them [to renounce their ways]. But if they stand their ground, he is to warn them of war because God the Almighty commanded us to first seek reformation before fighting.

The extent of the permissibility of joining ISIS and similar groups

From the above, it becomes evident that ISIS and similar groups are from the Kharijites against whom the Messenger of God (peace and blessing be upon him) warned us and ordered that they be fought. According to Islamic law, it is not permissible to join them or any other takfiri sect because they are transgressors and seceders. How can it be permissible to join them after rulers have been commanded to fight them and after the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) described them as  the dogs of hellfire?

  11. Saudi "Wahhabism" – The Cult Of The Suicide Bomber

America's "War on Terror" has now killed over two million people leaving a trail of destruction and chaos from Libya to Afghanistan and generating a refugee crisis on a scale not seen since the last World War. All of this anger and hatred has swollen the ranks of violent new groups who have arisen to fill the power vacuum left behind by the destruction and weakening of so many regimes. There was a news report recently about a suicide bomb attack by Libyan "Islamists" against a church in Egypt. Such an act not only highlights the catastrophic failure of official U.S. policy in the region but also represents a clear violation of everything that Islam stands for.

It is one of the fundamental principles of Islam that every religion must be accorded full respect. Thus, Muslims are under an obligation to honour and protect every house of worship dedicated to God, whether it be a mosque or a church or a synagogue, and any attempt to prevent the followers of another faith from worshipping God according to their own lights is condemned by the Quran as a sacrilege.

3:113 [But] they are not all alike: among the followers of earlier revelation there are upright people, who recite God's messages throughout the night, and prostrate themselves [before Him]. (114) They believe in God and the Last Day, and enjoin the doing of what is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong, and vie with one another in doing good works: and these are among the righteous.

Many of those who refer to themselves as Muslims simply follow the cultural traditions of their social environment and they have neither an interest in, nor an understanding of, the divine revelation contained within the Quran – turning instead to local religious leaders for guidance (some of whom may be driven by national, sectarian or other considerations).

2:78 And there are among them unlettered people who have no real knowledge of the divine writ, [following] only wishful beliefs and depending on nothing but conjecture. (79) Woe, then, unto those who write down, with their own hands, [something which they claim to be] divine writ, and then say. "This is from God," in order to acquire a trifling gain thereby; woe, then, unto them for what their hands have written, and woe unto them for all that they may have gained!

A suicide bomb attack against a Christian church, or a Shia mosque, requires some form of validation from a respected religious authority and this comes from the so-called "doctrine of abrogation" – a popular teaching in Saudi Arabia – whereby "Wahhabi" scholars (who legitimize the rule of the wealthy, American backed Al Saud family) arbitrarily declare certain verses of the Quran to be null and void, i.e., "abrogated" by seemingly contradictory later revealed verses. For example, the verse: "Yet bear thou with them, and say 'Peace [be upon you]!' – for in time they will come to know [the truth]" (43:89), is declared abrogated (in the popular, Saudi published "Noble Quran") by verse 9:5 – it actually says in the side note: "The provision of this Verse was abrogated by the revelation of the Verse of fighting against them (V. 9:5)". In verse 9:5 the freely distributed "Noble Quran" goes on to say: "…kill the Mushrikun wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in every ambush. But if they repent [by rejecting shirk (polytheism) and accept Islamic Monotheism]…"

The Quran contains divine guidance covering every aspect of life including some verses which relate to conflict and warfare. These, and every verse of the Quran, must be read and interpreted against the background of the Quranic teachings as a whole. Verses such as "There shall be no coercion in matters of faith" (2:256) lay down categorically that any attempt at forcible conversion is completely forbidden. The Quran ordains, "Fight in God's cause against those who wage war against you; but do not commit aggression, for, verily, God does not love aggressors" (2:190); and, "if they desist, then all hostility shall cease" (2:193). Now the enemy's conversion to Islam – expressed in the words, "if they repent, and take to prayer, and render the purifying dues (zakah)" – is no more than one and by no means the only way of their "desisting from hostility" and the reference to it in verse 9:5 certainly does not imply an alternative of "conversion or death".

4:90 Thus, if they let you be, and do not make war on you, and offer you peace, God does not allow you to harm them.

Those verses of the Quran which relate to warfare are concerned with conflict already in progress against the military forces of a belligerent enemy and they cannot be taken in isolation and used to "justify" terrorist attacks or military campaigns against "apostate" communities – no matter what certain Muslim rulers may have done in the past – nor do these verses "abrogate" any other part of the Quran. Islam promotes peaceful relations between people and neither suicide bomb attacks nor tribal, national or sectarian violence has any basis whatsoever in the teachings of the Holy Quran.

3:105 And be not like those who have drawn apart from one another and have taken to conflicting views after all evidence of the truth has come unto them: for these it is for whom tremendous suffering is in store (106) on the Day [of Judgement] when some faces will shine [with happiness] and some faces will be dark [with grief].

The "doctrine of abrogation", that is, the arbitrary procedure of deleting one Quranic passage and replacing it with another, is not based upon any reliable Tradition of the Prophet. There is no unanimity whatever among the upholders of this doctrine as to which, and how many, Quran-verses have been affected by it and, furthermore, none of these "Wahhabi" scholars can say whether they are calling for a total elimination of the verse in question from the context of the Holy Quran – or merely cancelling the divine ordinance contained within it. In short, the Saudi "doctrine of abrogation" has no basis whatsoever in historical fact and must – along with all of the branches of "Islamic extremism" which it fosters – be completely rejected.

2:85 Do you, then, believe in some parts of the divine writ and deny the truth of other parts? What, then, could be the reward of those among you who do such things but ignominy in the life of this world and, on the Day of Resurrection, commitment to most grievous suffering?
For God is not unmindful of what you do.

6:159 VERILY, as for those who have broken the unity of their faith and have become sects – thou hast nothing to do with them. Behold, their case rests with God: and in time He will make them understand what they were doing.

  12. What the german volunteer claims there seems to be greatly exaggerated if not untrue. I researched if German citizens who fought for the YPG and freely admit it when they return will be charged and found that there was an inquiry by the Left Party faction in the Bundestag and the response was that YPG volunteers don't have to fear criminal prosecution once they return. I read that there were 2 cases where the justice considered to launch a preliminary investigation (suspicion of murder) but nothing ever came out of it as far as I can tell. And now since the trouble with Erdogan escalated I highly doubt it that German authorities would even be interested to prosecute any citizen who admits that he/she fought for the YPG.

I also read an article about a Dutch fighter who back in the Netherlands bragged on TV that he served the YPG as a sniper and had killed several ISIS combatants. Eventually he was arrested but after a public outcry they released him after 2 days only. But he went underground and made since then some strange complaints (through his lawyer) against the Dutch government.
Anyway, if somebody has some further info about this issue, esp. concerning German volunteers then please share it.
